    Hi everyone,

I'm happy to be part of this forum. My name is Kieran. I was born in and live in Brooklyn, New York. My maternal grandmother was Mary BOYLE Mason (1904-1982). She was born in Broxburn, West Lothian, Scotland, and died in Brooklyn.

Her parents were James BOYLE (1870-1944) and Jane Donnelly. James was born in 1870 in Meenatotan, a subdivision of Oughtmeen, Glenties. He was a twin to Neal (1870-1955), and they had three other brothers (Constantine [1866-1945] and twins Denis [1868-1944] and Patrick [1868-1922]) and three sisters (Mary [1879-1966], Annie [b. 1875], and Frances [b. 1876]). Mary married Patrick MCGINTY (1877-1948) of Fintown. Their descendants, the Campbells, now live on the Boyle homestead in Meenatotan.

James and his siblings were the children of John BOYLE (b. abt 1843) and Mary O'DONNELL (b. abt 1842) of Meenatotan. John had two brothers, James and Rodger. Their father was Condy or Connell.

Mary O'DONNELL's parents were Denis (1808-1864) and Bridget (1794-1864).

I would love to connect with others who may know anything about this family. I know very little other than the names and dates.

    Go raibh maith agat!
